Arthritis Does Not Have to Stop People from Living a Full Life

I thought that I was just going to have to live with the arthritis that I had. I know it is a part of aging, but it was not one that I quite ever got used to. Moving around slower might cut it for some people, but I am just too active to have to want to deal with arthritic pain. When a friend of mine suggested that I see her chiropractor in Santa Rosa, I was surprised that they actually have treatment plans for arthritis. It is not really that there is a cure for it, but there are measures that can be taken to make sure that the arthritis does not stop me in my tracks.

I knew that I needed to make better decisions, and I decided to start doing that by making an appointment with her chiropractor. She was seeing him for nutritional reasons, and I figured I could kill two birds with one stone by having him help me with better choices as well as for any kind of relief for my arthritis. I really was not sure what to expect, and I told him that up front.

He explained to me about how arthritis affects the body. I knew a little bit about it, but I actually learned a good bit from him. He was able to help me a good bit just with some adjustments that he did starting that day, and I still go in at least a few times a month to have them done. He also helped me with some recommendations on a healthier lifestyle, and I can honestly say I have never felt better than I do right now. I still have arthritis, but I have learned how to put it in its place as I continue to enjoy life as much as I can!
