I Did Not Want to Hurt Anymore

My boss noticed that I was moving slower not that long ago, and she asked me what was wrong. She didn’t ask me until she noticed that I had been walking that way for a few days. She thought that I might have had an injury, but I told her that I had no idea what had happened, that I had just woke up that way a few days prior. She told me that I should see the same Campbell chiropractor that she goes to twice a month. She has been really happy with how she has been feeling since seeing him, so I figured that I really had nothing to lose by making an appointment.

Truth be told, I was not used to feeling so miserable, and I wanted to get back to feeling good again. I did not want to have to rely on pain pills just to get through the day, and I was happy when I was able to get an appointment for the following day at her chiropractor. After explaining that I was clueless on what had happened, the chiropractor did a complete physical examination on me. This included tests as well, and that gave me even more confidence and hope.

The good news is that there was nothing seriously wrong with me. The bad news was that I needed to have some manipulations done because my spine was not perfectly aligned. I recall that my boss had told me that she went there for the same thing, and I knew that I was in good hands for this. I had my first one done that day, and I went back once more that week. I was having two done per week, and it only took a few weeks before I felt like myself again. I think I am going to take after my boss though and continue to go because it just feels too good now to not go!
