I became a chiropractor in Oceanside because I like to help people. Not only that, but I love giving people the type of help that makes them want to come back again and again because they respect me and will do a good job with what I do for them. I am this way in most areas of my life. I like to give, and I like people as well. People energize me and they make me happy. So, I do what I do for them as a thank you. It took me many years to realize what I wanted to do as a career, but once I made up my mind, I didn’t look back. Now, I know there is nothing else I would rather do as a profession. I found what makes me happy.
I was not always the type of person that I am now. I used to be somewhat depressed, unhelpful and sullen. My family had a lot of trouble when I was growing up. We were very poor and always struggled. By the time that I was 14, my parents passed away. My older sister had to take care of us because she was 18 and considered an adult. We struggled even more to pay bills and put food on the table. I was depressed about losing my parents, and because of this, I really did not notice other people much. I just thought of myself for the longest time.
By the time I got to college, I really opened up. I started thinking about looking beyond myself and giving more to others. This is when I found out what my passion is. I love coming into the office every day and helping people who feel extreme pain. I don’t want them to feel that way.
