I was in a lot of pain from a car accident that I was in, but I considered myself very lucky because two people in another car were killed in it. While that made me feel really bad, it still did not take away the fact that I was hurting a lot myself. I was in the hospital overnight for observation, and the doctor told me that I would be in pain for the short term but no major injuries had happened. He did suggest that I see a Turlock chiropractor to help me with the pain in my back and neck, especially considering that type of pain usually gets worse before it gets better.
That did not leave me with a good feeling, and I decided to start looking for a chiropractor that same day. If I had more pain to look forward to, I definitely wanted to get ahead of it as quickly as I could. I was happy to find a chiropractor who was able to see me the day after I was released. I had my medical info from the hospital with me, and the chiropractor was able to give me the treatment option he thought best after looking at that info and giving me a physical examination too.
I had no idea what spinal adjustments were before I went to this chiropractor, and I still didn’t understand too much about them once he did explain them. I gave my okay to the treatment though because he assured me that I would feel better. That was my entire reason for going, and he kept his word. I went three times a week for a mix of adjustments, massage therapy, and rehab, and I did that for about three weeks, when I was able to cut it down to once a week. I now go just once every month or so, but it is not because I still hurt. It is because of how good I feel after having an adjustment done!
